Auction: Game Boy Advance SP signed by Shigeru Miyamoto

I have just dropped an auction for an autographed Game Boy Advance SP: Famicom Edition that I had signed by Shigeru Miyamoto. It’s in great condition, and it’s not like you can play for GBA favorites on your 3DS, right?

This auction is for a Game Boy Advance SP: Famicom Edition autographed by Nintendo mastermind Shigeru Miyamoto. This Game Boy Advance SP is from my personal collection, and I had this autographed during E3 2006.

The unit itself is in perfect condition, and while I played with it a few times prior to having it signed, it’s in working order. Note: this is a Japanese GBA SP. However it is region free and will play US/EUR/AUS titles just fine. This Game Boy Advance comes as is, without box or charger.

Auction: Biohazard Archives signed by Capcom’s Jun Takeuchi

Resident Evil fans, take notice. Alex Aniel just dropped a pretty slick Biohazard/Resident Evil collection autographed by Capcom’s Jun Takeuchi.

A Japanese language book that contains scripts, files, character descriptions, artwork and more information from recent Resident Evil games. 288 pages. Games covered included Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, as well as the CG film, Resident Evil: Degeneration. This was signed by Capcom’s Jun Takeuchi (Onimusha 3, Resident Evil 5, Lost Planet 2) at Tokyo Game Show in 2010.

CAVE Announces Aid Project

Today, Japanese developer CAVE (Espgaluda, Ibara, Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine) announced they will donate proceeds from two of their titles to support Tohoku earthquake relief efforts.

From April 9th – April 17th, for you hip iPhone/iPod Touch owners, the game Mushihimesama BUG PANIC is at a special sale price of $0.99 (US/CA) £0.59 (UK) €0.79 (EU) $1.19 (AU). 99 cents for a CAVE shooter?! C’mon now!

Also from the April release through the end of June, Xbox Live Arcade title NIN2-JUMP, for 400 Microsoft Points will see your crazy MS space bucks help Japan.

Finally, the CAVE GOODS Online Shop will be selling “Charity Sets” (2,000 yen including tax) from Friday afternoon (April 15th) through Saturday (April 30th) for both domestic and international customers.

All proceeds will go to affected areas via the Japanese Red Cross.

Insomniac Games hosted a recent Community Day in Hollywood that attracted hundreds of fans to the Egyptian Theatre for new looks at Resistance 3 and Ratchet: All 4 One. Fresh off the event, they’ve kindly posted two auctions for Resistance 3 art, signed by the team. This is the second of two auctions.

Auction: Lara Croft Xbox 360 Arcade Unit

Karl Stewart of Crystal Dynamics has posted an auction for a very rare standalone arcade unit supporting Lara Croft & the Guardian of Light.

You are bidding on a Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light Xbox 360 promotional Arcade unit.

This unit (one of only 4) was created to promote our awesome Xbox 360 Summer of Arcade hit title at E3 2010.

Once it was finished being used at E3 it was then signed by the Dev team and boxed up for a special day just like this one.

Of the four created. two were given away to lucky TR fans and one remains in the studio ( these are the images supplied above). This one is all boxed up in storage ready to be shipped.

It stands at little under 7 foot tall.

The units were built from scratch.

They come complete with an

    * Xbox 360 retail kit inside (with a copy of LCGOL installed of course!)
    * HD monitor
    * Surround sound system (with external remote) that extends from the front of the unit to sit right behind your head as you play.

We even went as far as to have instal a faux coin insets panel on the front.

As you can see from the images the faceplate has two Xbox 360 controllers firmly fixed in place.

Auction: Guitar Hero III Signed By Def Leppard

Reuben Tilly lives in New Zealand and was kind enough to contact us to ask about auctioning off a Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock signed by Def Leppard during their 2008 tour. Given that his home country has also recently experienced a natural disaster, we found his gesture doubly touching. Do keep in mind, North American bidders, that the disc will only work in PAL Xbox 360s.

You are bidding on a signed Guitar Hero Guitar by Def Leppard , Bundled with GH3: Legends of Rock. The autographs are on the front of the Guitar as pictured, and we have obtained during their 2008 sold out concert in Auckland, New Zealand.

Q Games has posted an auction for a PixelJunk Shooter 2-themed t-shirt signed by Dylan Cuthbert and the team. As you might notice, it’s uniquely…PixelJunk in nature.

Japan has witnessed tragedy after tragedy since March 11th 2011, and everyone here at Q-Games headquarters in Kyoto, Japan, has been on the sidelines watching these terrible events unfold. We felt we had an imperative to help raise money for the earthquake and tsunami relief effort, so everyone on the PixelJunk team including Q-Games founder and President Dylan Cuthbert has taken up a pen to give this shirt the autograph treatment.
