Auction: Sega Dreamcast “Still Thinking” Hoodie
Sega of America surprised us all today with numerous active auctions of various memorabilia, particularly this one. During GDC, some of us noticed Sega PR walking around in these Sega Dreamcast-themed “Still Thinking” hoodies.
We made these hoodies for our recently released Dreamcast Collection, and they’ve been incredibly popular! For all the people who asked if we would sell them — this is your chance to get one!
This is a black hoodie with the Dreamcast swirl and name embroidered on the front right side. The Dreamcast swirl and “Still thinking…” are screenprinted on the back. The inside of the hood is orange (it matches the color of the swirl) and the hood drawstring is also orange. It has two front pockets (one on either side of the zipper) at the bottom to hold all your stuff.
The auction closes on March 29 at 11:41:12 PDT. All proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross.
Auction: Life-Size Modern Warfare 2 Ghost Statue Signed By Infinity Ward
Infinity Ward has put four items up for auction to assist with Japan relief efforts. This is arguably their biggest. It is a life-size Ghost statue from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
This statue was never available for sale publicly and was created solely for Infinity Ward and partners related to the production and release of Modern Warfare 2.
It is brand new in box, with the base opened solely to be autographed for this Play For Japan auction. The statue is life-size (5′ 11″) and comes in 4 large boxes containing all the parts for assembly.
This auction ends on March 28 at 14:43:56 PDT. All proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross.
Auction: Evangelion Laserdisc Signed By Director
Christian Nutt’s auctions aren’t all game-related, but they definitely hit a good cross-section of gamers’ interests. Case in point: his auction for an Evangelion laserdisc signed by director Kazuya Tsurumaki.
You are bidding on an Evangelion laserdisc signed by director Kazuya Tsurumaki. Tsurumaki directed the “Air” segment of End of Evangelion which is contained on this laserdisc. (He also directed the popular series FLCL!) The cover features a beautiful illustration of Misato Katsuragi.
Tsurumaki signed this laserdisc, originally purchased in the late 1990s, at the 1999 Otakon convention where he was a guest of honor.
This auction ends March 27 at 15:39:17 PDT. All proceeds from this sale will benefit Global Giving.
